I was so against Vegas... until I looked into flights and hotels.

Vegas = cheap as shit. I'm all in for a show at the MGM Grand.

NOLA is about the same distance as Memphis, so you wouldn't have to change much in your plans regarding work or time off or whatever.

All that aside, I feel like Vegas has so much going on that would take away from all that 311 day is. In NOLA and Memphis 311 fans pretty much take over the city, I don't feel like that would happen in Vegas or any other HUGE touristy city for that matter.

Technically none of this really matters because it is more than likely the city has already been chosen.

However, I just looked up flight + hotel from Charlotte to both Memphis and Vegas. As much as I don't want to go to Vegas, it's about half as much as Memphis.

AUSTIN!!!!!!! 311 loves austin! (as confirmed by nick on the spring tour and P-nut on the boards) they'd tear shit up here. its not too far from NOLA and 6th street is nothing to bitch about either. itd be the perfect place!!!!

to be honest, san diego could work. the downtown bar areas are good but it's not cheap nor is it welcoming to younger people and you can't just walk around with open containers...
