Default Sorry I'm sure this is a Repeat: Transistor Appreciation

I'm really feeling this album right now.

what are your favorite parts?

one of mine is Running. SA kills it. love the harmonies. PNut makes me want to dance. Tim is doing some weird cool shit (technical term).

turn it up.

Jupiter into Use of Time. Those two songs are awesome. And my friends say I just get into my own little world when Prisoner comes on. Those three really hit me hard. I LOVE IT!!

i really dig Jupiter & Use of Time also. the vibes are deep there. i also feel the rapping on No Control, Starshines, and Borders. Chads drumming on Starshines kicks ass. P-Nut's bass playing on Inner Light Spectrum is great, it carries the song nicely. Running is Tim at his best. Transistor is probably my favorite 311 album right now. i also love the instrumentals (the intro & color). Transistor is def the most complete 311 album experience.

Such a great album. It's a very unique album even by the standards of a unique band such as 311. It's either trippy, rockin, or both at the same time. My favorite song of all time is "Rub A Dub"

Running is one of my favorite songs of all time. I could name like 8 other songs that are among my favs on Transistor but I think the fairest thing to say here is that it's a phenomenal album start to finish. That's really the way it should be listened to, so many great moments.

For those of you who were (or weren't) at 311 Day 2006, the TRANSISTOR mini-block was def my favorite live 311 concert moment ever. They played 8 songs in a row from the album, and probably 12-14 total throughout the whole night...Including Inner Light Spectrum!

That point in Starshines where the tempo switches... Gets me everytime.

Stealing Happy Hours always makes me feel good. I love what P Nut is doing on this song. Subtle and sweet.

I missed it live in ATL 07, but I have seen video of the song live...I love at that part when they all just stand there and the lights go out and the flashing lights kick in the with beat, and you can see miT just standing there waiting to come back in....

such a great live song. I saw it a couple years ago, I remember they were like 20 seconds into the song and I didn't even realize what song it was. I was singing the words like crazy still but I just wasn't expecting it at all!
